Ganesan joined Newgen in 2007 as an XML technical executive, a post he held for the first 5 years. After serving in various roles, he is now a lead in the centralized books pre-editing team.

According to him, Newgen has offered him an opportunity to lead a team – something he was himself so unsure of doing. While initially he went through a lot of ups and downs, in due course, he discovered new approaches to doing mundane tasks learning both from the results of his work and also from his teammates. He likens his work to playing a game that yields the desired results, all while allowing him to continue to have a great time. Newgen’s environment has transformed his way of thinking and the responsibilities he holds, which to him has had a huge impact on his life.

After 15 years of being a part of the Newgen family, he feels that there is so much learning to do every single day.

He considers Newgen to be a place where one can grow professionally and learn new things. He is especially grateful to his manager and mentor, Arockia Alexander. He is immensely grateful for the chance of working with Alex and gaining a lot more knowledge.
