Raihan’s journey into the legal publishing industry began in 2011 when she joined Thomson Reuters Malaysia as a legal editor. She then moved on to another publishing company but unfortunately she could not find what she wanted there. In 2017 she joined Newgen as a commissioning editor and has been at this role for the past five years. She loves the job and the people at Newgen and is proud to call herself an employee of Newgen KnowledgeWorks Malaysia. Working with a team of professionals in Newgen is one of the many things she appreciates about her job. She adores her teammates, especially her manager and her colleagues. She thinks of her team as smart and dedicated and she hopes to learn a lot from them. Although there have been miscommunications and silly errors at times, Raihan feels that the most important thing is that everyone handles things professionally, as each mistake is also a learning opportunity. She cherishes the strong professional relationships that exist here in Newgen.

Raihan is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her responsibilities are mainly commissioning, editing, and proofreading manuscripts for Thomson Reuters Asia. Whenever required, she does translation works and writes headnotes for law reports too. She takes photos during company events and briefly managed the company’s social media accounts.
